Developed by the Friends of the Bowl Foundation, in consultation with the City of Saskatoon and partnering sports organizations, the Master Plan for the Gordie Howe Sports Complex will expand opportunities for athletes of all ages, levels and abilities.

MLA Eric Olauson, Saskatoon University Heights, highlighted benefits of the developments at the park in the Legislature earlier this week.

No matter your sport — whether you run, jump, throw, skate, block, pass, tackle, hit, pitch, catch or cheer — new and future upgrades and developments at the Complex will help fill the growing demand for sports facilities in Saskatoon and area.

With existing facilities upgraded to international standards and the addition of several new high-caliber multi-sport facilities, the Gordie Howe Sports Complex aims to become Western Canada’s top sporting destination. Given the many recreational and competitive athletic opportunities to be offered, athletes, coaches, officials, spectators and volunteers will be drawn from across our city, province, country and beyond.

The Complex will welcome over 175,000 people every year!
