FFUN Performance Centre

Discover our state-of-the-art indoor turf field, offering both full and half-field options to cater to your sporting needs.

Full Field: 90 yards x 50 yards or 271 x 175 feet, totaling 47,425 square feet.
Half Field: 45 yards x 50 yards or 135.5 x 87.5 feet, covering 11,856 square feet.

Our Double Play turf, designed specifically for softball and baseball, ensures true hops for ground balls with a shorter and tighter weave than football and soccer turf. The 44-feet high roof, with 40 feet clear of spans, provides ample space for fly balls—making us the city’s highest indoor facility.

Equipment Included:
Indoor balls, pails, and carts.
Pitching mounds/rubbers.
Batter’s box can be included for modified games.

FungoMan Practice Machines
Enhance your training with our FungoMan Practice Machines, featuring a revolutionary ball-feeding system for perfectly placed balls. Check out the video for a closer look.

Classrooms
Explore our SaskTel Learning Centre, equipped with modern amenities for effective meetings and workshops. The large classroom seats 56 at tables (70 with chairs), while the small classroom accommodates 35 with flip-up desks.

Pitching Tunnels
Experience top-notch training in our three pitching tunnels—P1, P2, and P3. Each tunnel includes plates, mounds, rubbers, and supplied balls.

Batting Tunnels
Choose from our batting tunnels—S1, S2, S3, B1, B2, and B3—equipped with advanced Hack Attack machines for personalized training. S1 and B1 also feature HitTrax for real-time player data and analysis.

​Baseball and Softball Hack Attack Machines

Turf Field
​This area is the perfect indoor training facility for softball, baseball and many other sports. The large turf area is also great for games of flag football, modified cricket, ultimate disc, and minor softball.

Team Feeder
​Maximize your hitting time with our 150-ball capacity Team Feeder, ensuring a baseball or softball is fed every 5.5 – 6.5 seconds. It also includes a remote control for convenience.

e-Hack Attack Electronic Pitching Machines
​Experience the future of batting practice with our programmable e-Hack Attack machines. Dial in any change in speed, location, and pitch type for a tailored training session. Explore the Baseball e-Hack Attack video and the Softball e-Hack Attack video.

HitTrax Simulator
​Immerse yourself in the HitTrax Simulator, the first and only baseball/softball simulator in the market. Transform any batting cage into a hi-tech analytics and stats center to enhance your techniques before stepping onto the field. Make A Reservation

To reserve the FFUN Performance Centre, follow these simple steps:

If this is your first time reserving, please create an account. See the Step-by-step guide to create your account on the right-hand side of the log in page.

Create an account

Step Two
Once your account is set up, click on the “Rent a Facility” box along the top and see the options under FFUN Performance Centre.

Make a reservation

Choose your facility and then from the facility screen, select: the duration, number of people (a best guess is fine) as well as the date and time. Click “reserve” on the bottom left. No reservation will be accepted without payment. On the next screen you will see an order summary. If your order is complete put in your credit card information and click “Place My Order“. If you’re reservation is NOT completed, click “Continue Shopping” until you have completed your reservation, after which you will put in your credit card information and click “Place My Order.”

Reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance. Clients can cancel reservations up to a week in advance through an email to eventsbookings@howesports.ca. GHSC reserves the right to refuse any cancellation less than 7 days in advance. If an exception is allowed, a $5.00 cancellation fee will be applied to the refund.

Getting There

Visit us at the FFUN Performance Centre within the Gordie Howe Sports Complex. Located at 1303 Avenue P S, Saskatoon, SK S7M 2T7, our facility is easily accessible. Check out the map for precise directions and discover a space where sports and training excellence converge.

  • Field 1 (South) bottom of diagram, Field 2 (north) at the top. There is a curtain dividing and will be moveable as of mid-June.
  • Yellow – baseball batting tunnels B1(left), B2 (Middle) and B3 (right) as you look at diagram.
  • Blue – Softball batting Tunnels S1 (left), S2(middle) S3 (right).
  • Purple – Pitching Tunnels P1 (left), P2(middle) P3 (right).

Vendors

Situated on the west side of the foyer is the future home of the Saskatoon Sports Hall of Fame.

On the second level, you’ll find Ignite Athletics and enjoy a dedicated viewing area adorned with cozy chairs and exercise bikes—a welcoming space open to the public.
