Junior aged teams flock to Indoor Training Centre

As softball season closes in, the zone programs from the Saskatoon Minor Softball League’s A-level programs have stormed into the Indoor Training Centre.

Since January, the A-teams from the junior age groups of the Hustlers, Lasers, Phantoms and Raiders regional Saskatoon city zones have gathered for training and evaluation sessions along with the city-wide Selects zone program.

The main story for the March content upload of the “Howe Happenings” blog focuses on what the zone softball programs have been up to at the Indoor Training Centre to prepare for the upcoming season.

Before the Indoor Training Centre opened, the Saskatoon zone programs often held these training sessions in school gyms.

The second post is another round up of photos of the happenings and fun that have occurred at the Gordie Howe Sports Complex over about the last three months. A number of these photos have appeared on the Gordie Howe Sports Complex’s social media lines.

You can find these stories on the “Howe Happenings” blog at howehappenings306.blogspot.com.

New content will be released on the ninth day of each month. We hope you will enjoy the stories that make up the posts on the “Howe Happenings” blog.
