Ski group gets “Take it Outside” grant

The Saskatoon Nordic Ski Club hit a big home run for skiers of all levels that use the Gordie Howe Sports Complex.

We pass on a big thank you to the Saskatoon Nordic Ski Club for applying and receiving the City of Saskatoon “Take it Outside” Grant.

This grant will provide trail lighting at the Gordie Howe Sports Complex groomed trails for the season. Lighting will be on until 10 p.m. most days of the week.

Please refer to the Gordie Howe Sports Complex schedule which lists the Nordic Ski Booked lighting times or the Saskatoon Nordic Ski Club website for additional information.

The Nordic Ski Club is one of the associations that are part of the Gordie Howe Sports Complex Family.

In addition to the lighting availability at the complex, the club regularly grooms the trails in the area for a great outdoor experience which we all appreciate.

Thank you again to the club for providing this opportunity.
